SAMPLE ANSWER FOR AFOREMENTIONED QUESTION-
In the contemporary world of today, with the advancement in telecommunication and photographic technologies, visual expression in mediums such as television and movies is becoming increasingly more substantial means of expressing the ideas instead of the simple printed media. I firmly advocate this view and the essay will voice my personal opinion.
To initiate with the reasons, there is no denying the fact that the rapidity of modern life has accelerated manifold where people have very little time to sit down and put their beliefs and experiences on a piece of paper. Writing diaries and letters have become a thing of the past. On top of that, a person might not be capable enough to eloquently describe a cherished moment. Numerous studies have consistently found visual communication is more preferable as it provides recognizable facts. Meticulously crafted images, like political cartoons and television documentaries instantly convey the hidden messages to the onlookers and are mostly fruitful in delivering thoughts to busy and uneducated sections of society. Hence, visual means are highly expressive and gained more ground than other means.
Further reinforcing the same view, considerable advancement in technology has made available a wide range of devices to click photos and make videos of high quality. Most importantly, this takes just a few seconds and clicks, making it a popular choice among millennials. This can be rationally illustrated by the fact that the ordeals which people of Syria went through aftermath the war could not be described by the written words so conspicuously as done by photographs and live videos. Despite this decreased appeal for communication by words, the value of written form still stands tall in the field of interpersonal and formal communication. Written words, as a form of the official documentation, can never be supplanted by any other means.
After having explicated the pertinent points of this argument, I have drawn the conclusion that visual communication has been subjected to a tremendous popularisation when it comes to mass communication but written style and form still have its significance for official purposes.

SAMPLE ANSWER:
Globally held athletic events such as the Olympics, World cup and even the American super bowl are definitely incredible opportunities for the organizing country whereby certain sections opine that this is no less than unacceptable wastage of money. I am in partial agreement with this notion and explicate both facets of this statement.
Firstly, it is quite important to bear in mind that simply heading towards hosting an event and having the worldwide media's attention cannot guarantee a positive promotion. The reason lies in the fact that although the nation receives enormous publicity, the media will often report controversial news and pose derogatory remarks on the recognition of the country. Take the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, for example. The reporters' spotlight shined bright on the athletes but also highlighted the polemic legislation regarding homosexuality. Thus, despite international recognition to be gained, the country can also face a possible backlash.
Secondly, the expense of establishing large infrastructures required to host such sports meet can significantly reduce the worth of benefits, unless they become fully amortized afterward. This is largely due to the fact that stadiums, Olympic platforms, athletic tracks, and grounds are prohibitively expensive to be built on. A good illustration of this can be Commonwealth games held in Manchester,2003, where the council commissioned a stadium for athletic events which was later adapted and sold to the local football club, thus maintaining its efficacy. Hence, the costs can be recuperated with proper and fair economic management of events.
To conclude, a host nation has a lot to gain from such sporting events but fair economic administration and less contentious matter being subjected to condemnation by media to pull out of the closet can heighten the chances of deriving the benefits to the fullest.
