CONCLUSION FOR DISCURSIVE IELTS ESSAY
The conclusion is the last part of an IELTS essay. Basically, it is a reflection of the entire content and storyline of the written essay. No doubt, it is as important as introduction and body paragraphs are. Realizing its significance, let's get started with the strategy and way outs of making an effective conclusion.
Certain points to be kept in mind while writing conclusion are :
- Always avoid to add any new supporting idea in your conclusion as something which has not been mentioned in the whole essay how could it be included in the summary.
- Summarize the content of body paragraphs clearly and briefly.
- The addition of concluding phrase is must like: To conclude, In conclusion, To sum up, and so on.
- The length of the conclusion should be less than that of body paragraphs and if possible, equivalent to introduction as this gives uniformity and organization to the essay.
As such, it can be finally concluded that the decision for providing personal ammunition to ordinary men could be highly prudent since it can benefit not only the individuals but the society also. Henceforth, such permission ought to be granted.
